    Cert'd ADS-B In/Out

I'm 2300 all in on a 330ES. My GDL39 does fine for in. So far, it's been all I need. If I need an in solution later, I'll address that, but for now, I'm happy. That's driven by a 400W, which is also plenty for what I need.

lol - you know what they say - practice makes perfect.... BTW - I bought a plane from Gary Estes once. It was a good plane. He didn't cut corners with mine.

hopeless. You don't know what you don't know... Good luck. I hope to sell a plane to you one day... lmao

Upgrading to sell ever worth it?

On a serious note, two of the most well known plane flippers out there - Gary Estes in Mississippi, and Steve Weaver in West Virginia. How do they stay in business? Incidentally, both broker planes, but they also buy planes fix them and resell them... How do they do it if there is zero profit?

But it will be - that's my point. Someone will buy it, paint it matterhorn white, midnight blue, with charcoal gray stripes and you'll jump all over it. Just like you did with your current plane... and they'll use the small profit they made to buy another and do it all over again...

a twin Comanche is one of the most desirable small twins out there. I think that one had turbos too. All the better.

Upgrading to sell ever worth it?

Yeah, I know you do, that's one of the reasons I am baffled by your response. You know that plane can be boroscoped on the bottom end. If that looks good, tops are cheap. That's your risk... You could probably top both engines on that plane for 5k, with overhauled cylinders. Maybe a little...

Upgrading to sell ever worth it?

there are other possibilities guys, open your eyes a little bit, try something risky and have it work once. the answer doesn't have to be "NO". BTW, if you're flipping a plane and you're messing with a warrior, you don't know what you're doing... The same could be said for a twin right now...

Upgrading to sell ever worth it?

you think that would happen when you've had 10 planes painted there in the past two years?

Therefore, those two anecdotal examples mean it always ends that way, right? smh

Upgrading to sell ever worth it?

Just what you've told everyone else. You can't economically fix an old plane. It's tough, but you can do it if you're patient. That plane you guys have been looking at is a whole different sale and market with a paint job. You just have to rely that a plane not flown much since 11 will be ok...

Upgrading to sell ever worth it?

I can have that airplane painted for 11k. My bonanza will cost 9k or 9.5k depending on whether or not I choose three or four colors. You are relying on what you've been told, and it doesn't have to be accurate....

Upgrading to sell ever worth it?

lol. I know a guy who makes his living by refurbing and flipping airplanes. He LOVES guys like you two. So, tell me timbeck - what does it cost to paint that twin, with 2 primary colors and one extra color for a stripe?
