Mine took nearly a month to show up in the mail from the time it was showing on the airman inquiry page. Took 10 days in the mail from the post mark. So theoretically I could have called them 20 days after it showed on the inquiry page and got them to send it via email.

@bbchien can you confirm or deny that scleral lenses are "just a contact lens"? I may be required to wear one due to a corneal scar from an infection. And yes I realize this thread is 9 years old. Sorry!

Just an update here. Recieved my 1st class medical today via email. Status changed on the airman inquiry page Nov 17th. SI letter dated Dec 6th. Still haven't received the hard copy in the mail.
