I like Garmin Pilot as a close second to FF. I tried a few others including Wing X and some way less popular, but FF wins out every time. Doesn't work with Stratus though.

I don't mind non towered airports, but all of my training was in class C, so I'm really used to it.

Non-towered airports have a procedure you're supposed to follow when in the traffic pattern...it's supposed to prevent this kind of thing. You don't just cut someone off because you feel like it...you get in line.

He was way out of line making your wife upset by lying to her...that would **** me off the most. I haven't taken my wife up yet (she's a little apprehensive), but she's open to it. I would be livid if one of her parents said that crap to her.

I rent and don't fly nearly as much as I want to. I know owning can be expensive, but the thought of being able to take my plane out, not have to deal with an FBO, not having to pay extra to keep the plane overnight, etc, is very appealing. Pete

Try to fly more than 10 hours for the year.

My FBO won't allow us to rent if we're wearing sandals or flip flops.

I wonder how much Icon paid for this "article".
