Now that it is in, AOPA is pulling another GOTCHA ---- telling you to be wary if you log time as a Safety. Supposedly illegal to as as SIC with BasicMed ---- they nicely avoided that while pushing for BasicMed
I had similar situations to this going into Tucson.
The city has (maybe) a dozen different Enterprise offices. Called a few. Some would drop a car at the FBO, others would not {some have FBO agreements?}
The cruise ruse didn't come from Enterprise, but from Hilton when reserving a hotel room...
Availability is scarce, so rare opportunity to be allowed use for more than a couple hours at a time.
Typically get in 6-10 hours per month, although did double that this past year.
Last minute / impulse rentals not possible -- plan scheduling 1-2 weeks in advance
I logged mine while I was a PPL student. DPE for IRA just shrugged her shoulders. It's an experience thing, irrelevant to the 40+ hr experience requirement for the IRA
You should first take into account what clearance you received.
If you filed for 5, they aren't going to send you to 12 unless they pre-warned you of that.
