    Can I upgrade my medical?

So in my 3rd class medical there is a section that says “if you meet all of the requirements for recertification and are otherwise “medically” qualified, your HIMS AME is authorized to special issue an airmen medical cert for 6 months (could be a year) for ANY class of pilot duties” Ahhhh so...

Dismissed DUII 6 years ago, can I still get a class 1 medical and become a pilot?

Google “FAA HIMS AME list” and find a HIMS AME near you. A competent HIMS AME will know of a good one or two nearby.

As far as calling into Oklahoma- try first thing in the morning when they open, around lunch, and around 5pm EST...

    FAA Processing Time? Medical

From the time the FAA receives your package to when it is scanned in is running from 50-60 days right now. What class medical? If it’s 3rd class plan on another 2 months after it’s scanned into your file. 1st or 2nd add another 2 months as those are worked in Washington. Of course this is just...

    Neuro CogScreen Partial Fail...

I cannot emphasize how much a good night's sleep is for this test. I royally screwed up by presenting to the full battery of tests with about 60% of my usual sleep (nerves and staying in a crap hotel). Now 6 months later I have a withdrawn Special issuance and waiting for the FAA's consultant...
