Man it's a tough time out there for CFI's right now. I know the flight school I'm at has a tall stack or resumes. I think you really gotta network to get a job at the moment. If you're willing to move up here and look for a related job you can sometimes slide into a position. "Balls Hotel"...

Did you get your sea plane rating in the valley? I recently met up with Alaska Float and Ski and had a good time out there on a discovery flight.

Actually Blue River Aviation. I know a few CFI's at Fly Around though and we see them everyday on the ramp. I was definitely scanning for traffic while up the Knik but chose a weekday to help a little with traffic. I requested to join the Flyout Alaska FB page but still haven't been accepted...

You can basically see the glacier from the ramp. Just a couple minute flight to get to it from the airport. Buying a plane is my next major goal!

Very cool. I've only flown into Merrill a couple times but it's so cool flying out 25 over the city. I really need to come back and practice my towered radio calls...
