For anyone else, like me, considering swapping out their Garmin 430/530 pair with Avidyne "440/540" units, I just found out about Avidyne's IFD 550. It can do synthetic vision functions like their Entegra R9 big sibling. They keep adding a lot of the R9 functions to the IFD boxes...

Ditto for FlyQ. These folks are great and just formally added support for Stratux.
