I use the samsung S6 lite with garmin pilot and it works great, no lag. The size is perfect, I put it on my knee board just like I used to keep sectionals.

I've been driving semi trucks for 18 years, 2 million + miles with mostly an 18 speed non-synchronous transmission, I have never double clutched. I don't even know how. Just float shift the thing.
And coincidentally I'll be dropping a PLS truck off at Ft Irwin Monday morning.
It was 2011-2015 and still done that way by every company I know, the only place we grounded was at the loading rack and that was done with the Scully connection. I think the whole grounding thing is a little over blown, yet I still do it when I fuel..... cya I guess
Fun fact, I used to deliver fuel 10,000 gallons of diesel or 12,000 gallons of gas at a time and never used a grounding wire. Millions of gallons dropped into the tanks with out a spark or a fire .
This is about as close as I have been to area 51, I was on a crew doing some paving. There was some nice gentleman with 50 cals that made sure we didn't go past that gate. I thought all the old nuclear blast sites where more interesting then area 51
