I use Foreflights Logbook. Easy to use. It's always with me. I can access it from anywhere I can access firelight (phone, desktop, iPads, etc...) I'll export a backup every now and then. I still fill in the paper logbook. Redundant? Yes. It has all my endorsements in it though.

I’m at TCFT. Not really a CFI training facility though. Their CFIs seem to move on once they have their hours. They have a nice operation for sure. Looking for a school that does plenty of CFI training. I don’t want to be the first.

Have all but my TAA commercial requirements to complete. Will complete MEI next. So for now, I’m researching CFI CFII and MEI schools near me. I’ve taught plenty of newbies in my (17 years) current profession (intensive care unit registered nurse). I have quite a bit a patience and can...

Technically, based on the avg life span of 80ish,……. 40 is the hump. Lol. Life is shorter than most think.

im not 22 but not near the hump ether. Guess it varies. Im a quick hands on type of learner. Once I’m closer to the 250, I’ll get started. Next week or two.

Thanks for the advise all. Seems CPL will be a walk in the park compared to IR. Need to find and research a CFI school near me (KSUA). Preferably one that can be completed quickly. IR took nearly 3 months of flying 4 times a weeks with some days, twice a day. I can only spare 4 days a week...

I’m quite dedicated. Fly everyday. I’m not kicking tires here. IR was a long road. Consider myself a decent pilot. Still learning with every flight as I’m relatively low time. Good to hear CPL is not as difficult as IR.

I askeded my IR instructor and he said 40 hours air work? I said, really? Maybe I need to look for another instructor. How is the commercial checkride vs IR?
