Should be pointed out that if you waited for the Citation to land on 05 and then immediately took off from 23 there's a chance your LSA could end up climbing thru the jet's wake turbulence.

I find that I learn the most from Kitplanes. It's an excellent magazine these days and covers much more than just building planes from kits. I rank it higher than AOPA Pilot and EAA Sport Aviation, which I also get.

12 tows to 3000' is 36,000'. At 400fpm, that's 90 minutes at full power. Guessing 0.45#fuel/hp-hr, 230hp, that's 155# or about 25 gal. So your fuel consumption would seem to be in the right ballpark.
