Grumman (Gulfstream) Cheetah Owner, ATP Airplane Multinengine Land with 9 Type Ratings, Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land & Sea, Commercial Glider, Flight Instructor Airplane Single and Multiengine, Flight Instructor Instrument, Flight Instructor Glider, Training Center Evaluator (TCE) HS-125, Part 135 Check Airman, Ground Instructor, and a few logbooks. Cross country air racer (retired), former freight dog (15 years) and corporate chief pilot (10 years). I love soaring, airplane camping, hiking, climbing, and a bunch of outdoor activities.
I'm young enough to still get a sense of wonder and excitement each time the wheels leave the ground and old enough (notice I didn't say wise enough) to be thrilled and humbled each time I am able to make it back down again and the aircraft can be reused.
