I'm with Bob here.
When I started my flight training my instructors would enter the flights into my logbook onto one line. I carried that process forward through the end of my paid working jobs. Now that I'm back to flying for myself and on my own schedule I separate the flights to preserve...
That was one of the first series nine, if memory serves me correctly #320 was the first. I actually picked up the plane new in Switzerland and flew it to KBJC as a white tail so P&I could be completed in the states. Pretty nice trip overall.
It would've been nice to have an app like that when I owned my PC12, #323, but I got pretty good at using the charts when I had to. With the PC12 t's easy to get lured into complacency by the fact of well it performs. I just wished it was a tad faster.
I’ve been flying for over 30 years now and know how easy it is to fall into the complacency trap. I wonder how many other low land GA pilots are still using their performance charts after they have passed their PPL check rides? When I owned and operated a 135 operation we were required to have...
Lee airport (ANP) is another option and is an easier commute to DC than the other airports plus if you plan on sightseeing afterwards than Annapolis is a good place to start.

Make sure to bring toilet paper and paper towels. Those items are are almost better than cash down here at the moment. :goofy:
Just came back from town for my weekly grocery run and the bill came up to $7 for a weeks worth of food. It doesn't get much cheaper than this in the world.

I currently live on Margarita, Venezuela and spend about 10 months here and the rest of the time I'm in the states or traveling.
I have done the trip from Florida around the Caribbean and back with more than a few trips to and from Venezuela.
Here are some highlights of what to expect...
I keep a Journey Log for the plane even though I can grab the information manually from devices and engine monitor.
In addition to Hobbs/Tach time I also add the following n longer flights: engine parameters, fuel flow, power setting, ect. as a type of snapshot (usually one hour into the...
To the original OP: why not go to the FSDO and take the light gun signal test. Pretty easy to pass and then you get a waiver that you carry and it removes the restriction from your certificate. Plus you never need to do another color vision test during your medical.

I've owned a Cherokee 6-300 with non-club and a Seneca-II with club seating.
Entry-Exit for passengers is easier in club configuration as well as if you need to pull the middle seats. By the way, a 50-gallon cooler fits perfectly in the middle row in case you need to carry more beer, salmon...
I know of one, where I was a witness, misstated time of day by roughly 12 hours (night to day). I have always wondered if that was due to a NTSB mistake or by an outside force to save the airport or pilot's certificate since the airport was technically closed to night operations after a certain...
