I had the seatbelt thing happen. Was with my CFI, taking off from MYF and BANGBANGBANG on climbout...what the hell is that!?! CFI calmly replies, "seatbelt" and when I realized what I'd done, recovered the belt, and continued the climb, CFI says just as calmly, "checklist." Meaningful eye...

Shooting at airplanes is not the norm. In my experience, which is more than a while, Montana is far from insane. In fact, life here in general is much more...well, normal compared with cities I have known. YMMV.

Nice. A lot of guys are ggoing to the WE and other small bikes. They seem to like 'em a lot. I'm still on my old XR650. It's a great bike for the country I live in.
