I am a 36 yr old Paramedic who is attempting to finish his pilot training. I've wanted to fly since my first recollections as a child. I ain't gettin' any younger! I was prompted to register for this forum because of a thread I was reading started by an obese prospective student pilot. As a big guy myself, I identified with his struggle. It has motivated me further to seek a lifestyle change for the better, but also let me know that I don't have to wait. A lot of the guys on the forum gave some great advice and seemed to be very encouraging. This sounds like a community I'd like to be part of.
