We used to have lots of trades shows years ago for my business in New Orleans but after lots of problems our event coordinators have canceled all future shows there. All kinds of problems.

I notice those who chock wheels in a t-hangar also put cowl plugs, pitot sock on and lock the plane. These folks typically wear both belts and suspenders.
This has nothing to do with government workers. These are people receiving entitlement money. As a result they don’t have to work. This money is from the government. It is not tied to any output in production. Thus it is inflationary. Don’t know who Milton Friedman is do you?
