I've got a 182 and the vacuum AI is dying and I'm considering the G5. Any advice on the process of the G5 AI first, then an HSI later? Any advantage to doing both at once?

I had some new paint and does not close the older paint, beware of matching.

I purchased parts, hope those parts are not issues based on date of order.

I ended up going to recovered seats from a hot rod guys with aviation grade, fire tested vinyl and that was cheeper than seat covers.

I have a 1981 TRT182 and have never had any leaks.

Did you ever determine what they are?
