    YES they should My advice - do NOT go with the AV30. Go G5’s or other. Even for VFR I have AV30 and the DG is almost worthless. Talking to uA and have not been able to get it to remotely maintain correct heading even with all the setting changes etc

    JPI 900 or Garmin EIS

    Another thought. If it is purely a budget decision its less if instruments are in the G3X. If its a location decision, a small G3X display could display the engine instruments (Plus you would have a failover if the primary display went down) and would still be a little less than a JPI.

    Dynon would be the cheapest route to go. Safer = dual everything :) Another thought is why IFR 150? Training? You would probably be upside down in the aircraft with new IFR loadout.

    AV-30C heading problem?

    I have one in a pure VFR 172 and it precesses terribly. Have changed settings a few times via advice/directions from uAvionix and it did get better. Having the shop look at it while in for annual currently. We will see if its any better when I get it back

    A 206 is an awesome airplane in my book. You can actually fill the tanks and still take people and bags.
