    Ancient Autopilot

    I had a Comanche with that autopilot. It would only hold heading of North. Had to set dg to 0 and it would hold that. Make sure your compass is accurate as you will need to reset the dg later when finished using the auto pilot and making turns.

    Is anyone here proficient in a Zenith CH-750 STOL?

    Go out and do some stalls and check the airspeed indicator. I have hours in a 701. Not much difference from the 750 STOL. In slow flight, you can maintain level flight with good control and the airspeed indicator will indicate 0 due to the high AOA.

    Faa has a Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed (LADD) program that blocks the ADS-B from being displayed by Flightaware and others. Easy to do. Are you sure that the operator is actually turning off the ADS-B as opposed to having it blocked?

    G5 troubleshooting

    Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds. This should bring it back to life. Once you get it working, make sure the software is the latest and greatest. I think Garmin put out an update last year to solve the problem.
