Fair enough. You likely know more than I do about it, which is not much:) I was just referencing the Kitplanes article. I blame them.

The V-twin is equipped with a 5 gallon header tank per a Kitplanes article dated 2013. Sheer speculation on my part but if there was a misfuel incident, the header tank could have masked the problem long enough for them to fire up, runup, and get airborne.
