Help me spend up to 165k

I don't find the cabin tight at all in the BE33 I fly. Actually quite roomy and I like how the Beech sits up high so your legs aren't as straight out as they are in some of the lower seats. That being said, I fly a Saratoga some as well and it will be hard to beat for the OP's mission. 152TAS...

Is it normal to still have occasional bad landings as a private pilot?

My boss has right at 35,000 hours, most of that ag time, so literally hundreds of thousands of landings and he'll still bounce one here and there. Not very often, but every once in awhile. I make sure to let him know when he does too lol

    NORDO Crop Dusters

We have 5 aircraft at the company I fly for and we have radios in every one of them. Boss man will get on us if we dont use them. We run almost exclusively off of county airports around the state of Ohio and it gets pretty busy with GA traffic in the summer. My only closer than normal incidents...

    Becoming an ag pilot.

I'm fairly new but it's a great career field if you like to fly a lot of hours and love agriculture. I would suggest finding someone with a two seat ag plane and taking a ride for a load to see how you like it. It's a lot more work than it looks like just watching from the ground, especially...

Help Needed in Choosing Online Private Pilot Ground School

The King course doesn't have to be $600....all you need is the ground school/test prep. I think it's $279. I used them for my private and commercial and they worked well so I saw no reason to switch to something else for my instrument. Haven't finished it yet but it seems good so far.

    Aeroshell Aerobatics

I've flown with Mark in his T6 at his farm but not in formation with the others. Would be neat.

    Wheel landing vs. Three point?

I usually wheel land the first couple, then by the third or fourth bounce I'm in a tail low position

What is the best way to study for the Instrument Written Test?

So do they or do they not release the questions anymore? Everyone acts like Sheppard Air is basically the question bank and if you just memorize that then you'll be good to go for the test....but I thought that was supposedly a thing of the past?

    The use of ground effect.

When loaded on a hot day with an ag plane on a short runway it can be the difference in you getting over the fence on the end or not.

    Crosswind tailwheel advice needed..

A friend of mine is a 30k+ hour tailwheel pilot and when I first got my citabria he had me go out with a direct crosswind and run down the length of the runway with the tail up and the upwind wheel on the ground, get to the end, circle around and do it the other way.....to get used to the...

    Written result affect on Oral

Lol was sort of joking but I do think the more you know the better off you are....but you're right....the practical test is where you prove it all.

    Written result affect on Oral

Ok I thought the question bank was updated with ACS. So that examiner would be fine with being just barely good enough to fly the plane too and any better than that would just be a waste of time?

    Written result affect on Oral

When things changed from PTS to ACS they quit releasing test questions. Or so I'm told. When I took my commercial written this past summer there was maybe 2 or 3 questions that were relatively close to anything I'd seen on the practice tests.

    Written result affect on Oral

I got 100% on my written and my oral was a breeze. You can't memorize the questions anymore so they know you studied hard if you get a decent grade.
