Flight training in SRQ or nearby
The Pilot Place at KSRQ. I just completed my private there. Instructors are experienced and knowledgeable. Rental fees are lowest in the area and scheduling was never a problem for me.- EJW

So, student pilots.. Who are we and where do we stand?
Update - Passed my Private Pilot Checkride! Had 86.2 hours but I logged quite a few while waiting almost a month to get on the DPE's schedule. Now I have to figure out what to do with all this spare time.- EJW

So, student pilots.. Who are we and where do we stand?
Just did my first solo last week at after 17 hours. It was a beautiful day with low winds, great weather, and not much traffic at the airport. Went up with my instructor first and made several good touch-and-go landings before going up for a stage check with another instructor. I was nervous but...- EJW
