Thanks all for the replys and suggestions. All good stuff. I'm gonna look through the logs to see when the last time some love was given to the struts. May be time for at a minimum a fluid change and also maybe seal replacement. Notably they dont leak down really so does that mean seals are...
I know it is kinda normal but is there anything that sticky struts indicates? Sometimes the things go down to within 1 inch of bottoming out and other times they stay 8 inches extended. Or anywhere in between.
Kind of annoying when the plane sits in a 15 degree bank on the ramp!
Is there...
Hi!
My plane has been undergoing an extensive annual. The shop that has been doing most of the work is nearing the end of their stuff, but I am going to have a more local shop finish the engine stuff that isnt particular to my aircraft type. So once the current shop is done, I will need a ferry...
Hi everyone. I am looking to plan a flight from Western North Carolina to somewhere warm (Florida most likely) and I'm wondering what you guys feel like is the best product for for weather planning? I am going to be able to fly IFR if necessary but the main point is that we want to go to...
Thanks for confirming that. I have looked through the flight manual and haven't found much regarding the subject.

Sorry yes I should be more specific. He will based in Salisbury. So ATP near CLT is a good option. I look forward to chatting with Blue Line Aviation. The Academy of Aviation in Gastonia has a few red flags but I haven't ruled them out completely.
We figure anything within a couple hours of his...
I've never been accused of being overly fluent in English so let me think about it and see if I can write my question in an understandable way...

My 18yr old son wants to go to flight school. Interested in airline flying.
Google keeps returning ATP (biggest marketing budget?) and that may be how he goes but I'm open to suggestions.
Prefer NC or SC as he is in the NC National Guard and will have to return for monthly guard duties.
