    Moving

Not many know me here but a few stragglers from another forum do. I got my transfer to Phoenix, AZ. I start the 1st of March. Looking for aircraft basing ideas. Ideally I need a hangar with an apartment and a hot blonde to look after me and the airplane.

    World Series

Nobody around here actually believed they would win the world series on Aug. 25th. It was something to watch even if you are not a Cardinals fan. Just watching hometown hero David Freese was awesome. He looks like he is in a dream. Because he is. Game 6 was the greatest game I have ever seen...

    J. Mac McClellan @ EAA

I don't have a clock on how long he has been there. But I don't mind giving people a little time to transition in to a new job. Maybe he is writing now about what he knows about. Didn't he just take the reins at SA recently? A little work out between him and the staff and who knows what we might...

    Cubs2Oshkosh for the 75th

Rick, Yeah, I only meant help with planning and help with training. From B2OSH on down there has been no need to learn how to make a wheel each time. We have everything from experienced military pilots to webmasters and shirt vendors. We all work together and party at OSH together. Let me...

    Canard of death?

I respect Ron's experience in the field. But as R Franklin posted, mechanical problems in the first 50 hours account for more problems than pilot error. That is the area I was speaking to. I was only speaking to the first 50 hours and trying to find a way to alleviate that accident rate. I was...

    Canard of death?

It is my opinion that the E-AB rate is high because of the lack of dynamic inspections before airworthiness sign off. I am speaking of only one side of the accident graph and not about maneuvering accidents. There is a need for more in depth operational inspections before the aircraft flies...

    Cessna Parking Brake

The setup in my 172B is very wrong. Whoever designed it never tried to operate it. It is a design FAIL. It is also one of those things that are known by all and not made a big deal of. Where I rented before I owned had no aircraft that had an operating PB.

Thanks for the help. Just don't spend a lot of time on it as it is not a sure thing. I am at the mercy of a seniority system.
