Yeah I have been flying here and there with students all week. Even in the light rain visibility has been 5-7 miles. Sunol pass has been open most of the time. Mornings oddly enough have been the better time to fly then the weather moves in midday or evening.
I know plenty of Skywest pilots sitting on 6-9 years and are still stuck at FO. yeesh. Granted Skywest from what I hear has a bit better level of job satisfaction from some of the other regional places but the other guys supposedly have quicker upgrade times.
Anyone here about A-Hart locking its doors and dissapearing the other day. Used to be a good school, got sold and the new owner turned it into a 141 style international school. The other day people showed up for work and training. doors locked, phone disconnected, website gone...sucks for the...
If you have kids my work San Carlos Flight Center is doing some amazing things. Little pedal planes and a pattern for them to fly, a scavenger hunt, and a bounce house. We're going all out!
If you missed it I'm not surprised. I took off they were setting up the grill. When I landed they were packing it up. 20 RSVP'd but I think more than that showed up :D
So I used the example Ron gave me and it was a great discussion. But yes there is what the regs say to do which is how I taught the forum then there is what you really do. Don't hold just get to the approach and shoot it. Again :cheers:
Concerning Lost Comms IFR procedures. I would like to have some good examples for discussing and explaining the various sub sections of 91.185.
Any CFII's want to provide examples that you use and the conclusions you expect to come to?

Oh I saw the info for this flight. A CFI Sue was organizing it I think. Thought about going, looks like I missed out but I was working with students that day
