Recommendation for pre-buy at/near Concord, NH

Contact Don Sebastian. Very reputable guy, fair priced, does high profile and normal folk pre buys. Very, very thorough!! AOPA used him for their sweepstakes plane as well, and I used him on a few. He also now does virtual pre buys over a live video discussion. Pretty cool stuff...

    Anybody have the stratus esg?

Hope you get it done! I had a Stratus box in my plane for about a month and loved it. Panel decision changes forced me to change that to a Garmin 345, but I think the overall look and display on the Stratus wins between the two.

    Anybody have the stratus esg?

I'm in Northern Florida. Very reputable and large shop here and I'd be willing to bet they could get you in within the week or two. Just depends where you are at or if you want it that bad. Average Stratus time to order and receive shipment is about a week or two.

    Anybody have the stratus esg?

Yes, that's $3495 out the door. It does not include the Status 2i. You'll need to add that if you so desire for $500, or if you already have the 2s you can just buy the interface adapter kit for $150.

FS: Stratus ESG ADS-B Transponder - Certified Version

Price lowered an additional $250! Stratus ESG comes with warranty, so this is a GREAT deal for someone! If anybody wants an even better deal in Florida, I can likely get my local shop to install this for you for only $500 (and you'll still get the FAA rebate!).

    GTX-345 with internal GPS

I talked to my avionics shop today who states that according to talks with Garmin, the latest software version for the 345 should "fix" this issue...or at least allow such a situation.

What should I go with here?

No misprints! That was truly my cost, and again, it's an AW unit, which is worth more than standard 'W'. I have seen them go up to $8500. I also ended up with an 8130'd KI 206 for $1035, but ultimately decided on the Garmin 106A for $1528. It does sounds like a great deal for your setup...

What should I go with here?

Ryan, Thanks for your post! In the end, it's hard to say that the 650 would be an easier decision for me simply because I received a Garmin 430AW (16 watt comm), KX 155A (glideslope), and a KI 209 for $7500. I was able to get the PMA 8000B for a whopping $600...wiring and tray, etc all done...

FS: Stratus ESG ADS-B Transponder - Certified Version

Well, crazy that I'm posting this, but for sale I have a like-new Certified version of the Stratus ESG transponder. Unit will come with the portable Stratus interface kit so you can have ADS-B in and out. Why am I selling? I actually LOVE the unit. A lot. I just had it installed 3 weeks ago...

What should I go with here?

Hi Bob, the 430AW, KI 209A, KI206, and 155 all came in a bundled package. For the price I got a great deal and may as well use what I have already. Interestingly I have some off the record info that TKM will be announcing a slide in replacement for the 155 soon. Maybe that would be a logical...

What should I go with here?

Thanks for the thorough message! I guess I'm keeping the 209A then and selling my 206 w/ 8130. :) Figures! With the 430AW I guess this would have been the wiser move, but at the time I installed the Stratus ESG I didn't know I was going to go the 430AW path. My old ARC transponder took a crap...
