Does anyone know if the RS232 data wires are inside the cable shipped with the AERA660? If they are and can be exposed, that could save the time and extra money required to buy the optional bare wire cable just to gain access to one data wire.

Southern Arizona is a very GA friendly area. The Tucson area has several nice GA airports, the weather rarely gets in the way of flying at the seasonally appropriate time of day, and airplanes like the dry, warm salt free air.
