Much appreciated! That is what I was hoping. I wouldn't be offended at 10-20 hours and yes, lots of binging on ground school will be on tap before I step anywhere near an airport. I just don't want an instructor to decide "Yeah this guy needs another 40-60 hours!"

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Too bad because if I could do the work and get it inspected, I could literally save tens of thousands of dollars on unnecessary labor costs.

So I'm guessing if you are not certified, you cannot swap your own equipment and just get it inspected? That is highway robbery!

200 HP, about 135kts max @ 75% power. Those were great planes, too bad so many aircraft builders went OOB or sold. I would definitely agree with you on avionics upgrades. I love flat screen displays!
