looks like one of the cases dismissed. Did anyone follow what happened?

    Four pilots indicted

I know that I for one don't ever want to get on a flight with this guy in the left or right seat. Sure, let him fly on a class 3 medical but I don't believe he has any business flying a commercial airplane, although the FAA disagree and that's all that really matters!

Why do we not assume it to be the other way around though? We don't really have enough evidence to make an assessment. One is to conclude that he certainly lied somewhere along the line. Was he taking medication for his condition? What does his RX record look like? is there evidence of...

There is a huge disconnect somewhere though. How is it possible to have all these charges against you and yet STILL have a Class 1 medical which is current? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Chrisman could still be flying around in a B737. That, to me, seems a little troubling.

Agree, it will be interesting to see what the end result is. I see that one of the airmen still has a valid Class 1 medical. That I do not understand.

Thanks for keeping us up-to-date, Stan. Do you have an idea what happened in the three other cases? It's hard not to comment on some of the comments here!

Engine failure on takeoff - mitigation.

This is personal preference but I generally try to avoid straight out departures. Assuming the impossible turn altitude is below 700AGL, if I were to cough an engine at 600AGL then on a straight-out departure I'm *probably* not going to make it back, however, if I fly the pattern (sure it maybe...

    Misfueled Aerostar

maybe it would help? ... why don't they make the PIC sign off on fuel type and quantity delivered? Almost like a wavier - I believe airline captains do something similar once an jet has been fueled.

    Landing attitude.

Just wondering... Why is it that in a Cessna 172 you are told the land with a nose high attitude and yet when I notice the local T6 Texan 2s land they ALWAYS three-point them. Is this to do with nose structure strength or is there something else at play that I'm unaware of? TIA!

Welcome to the world of 'my truth'. If he said it then it must be true! Interesting that the case disappeared. It's like they just got covered over. Nothing in the press about it.

    ADSB and military flights

maybe I should better qualify this... Do MIL A/C keep there Mode C xpdr on during operation? you tend to see all this relayed to you if in ADSB service area.

    ADSB and military flights

Morning... I've noticed that MIL flights don't show live (or archived) on websites like flightradar24, however, I believe they do show while in flight on the aircraft PFD/NAV. Can anyone confirm this? Thank you.
