That sight picture at night it’s just different. It’s hard to get used to, but it’s worth a lot of practice. Even spending a night when it’s calm can be humbling. Easy to get low and slow. As a result, you come in a lot flatter and you really don’t flare correctly. Turn the lock up a bit on the...
That’s the part I don’t get. I am a pilot for fun not for career. But my friends are pilots but for fun and doe careers. We talk about flying all the time, safety all the time. The career guys I know that’s all they talk about. We all talk about this kind of crap every time it happens. How...
thats a new place to sump fuel! 182H. Did my preflight. Got in and was just overwhelmed with fuel smell. Thought maybe where I dumped what I sumped. But when I was pulling door closed noticed this leak. Nice cracked dried out fuel line.
As a PA I’m bummed to hear this. For 20+ years I have been very aware of my license limitations. When I have a patient looking for basic med I’ll just have one of my attending MD see and evaluate that day.
Any suggestions for a small tug for a 182H with wheel pants? As our membership ages it’s getting more and more of a pig to push around.
What are some high end and low end options. I like the ones the scoop up the wheel but the pants screw Rhodes options up.
So if he shut them down. What’s the time grime to restart. How much altitude they losing while restart? If the firebottles deployed no restart possibility correct?
Wondering what crew could if he partly succeeded?
