    Charging issue

I have a Cherokee six, the alt was checked two times, 45 amps good. I did not know how to check the voltage regulator, looked over the battery wires, all seemed tight I even cleaned some to be sure.

    Charging issue

I do value the vast experience of the pilots and Maintenace professionals who are very helpful with many of us who need advice on aircraft problems. I recently had my prop off for Maintenace, I put it back on after having a new alt belt, and just to be sure had my alt rebuilt. For some reason...

    Help.. wing bolts AD

We have been looking at suggestions from adding more inspection panels (cutting holes) to fuel tank removal, and bore scope, from on FAA paper.

    Help.. wing bolts AD

With a small hole, you can push in a small hole plug in it and remove it later for another inspection, but I shutter to think of putting a hole in my wing.

    Help.. wing bolts AD

I have a Cherokee 6, I got to have my wing spar bolts examined and without cutting a hold in my wing, I might could use a bore scope but I don't know if it will get to it. There are bore scopes with 16 ft leads for under 50$, but I don't know if it could work its way to the bolts. I know I am...

    My dilemma

I an not flying much now, I flew to Bahamas over 80 times, but not worth the trouble now. I have thinking about selling my airplane, but.. Should I sell it now and wished I had kept it later, or keep it and wished I had sold it. I can afford to keep it but I don't fly much, I like to go some...

    Now what?

Flying thru Orlando air space, just normal day, then they called me I answered, they called me, I answered, my instruments started to flicker, my Alternator quit. Shut down all stuff, called Orlando, they answered all OK. The small long screws in my alternator got loose, backed out a little...

Another fun landing in the Bahamas.

Yes another interesting landing in the Bahamas. Bahamas flying is not for the weak of heart, three towers for 625 airports, the rest are all using the same radio frequency, sounds like the CB traffic on the interstate. I lifted off with a weather report from Florida-Miami Center, a wind...

Another brown stain in my shorts,,

I was driving a Cherokee Six, front hatch opened, at a higher altitude I think I could have recovered, but the hatch door would have ripped off before long I suppose. When the door flew open, it caused a really loud noise or it was my pucker factor reached the sound barrier.

I have had several interesting landing in the BAHAMAS over the years, after about 90 trips or so. Recently I was making a landing in North Eleuthera and just as all seemed to be going well, my front cargo door flew open. If this has ever happened to you, you must have survived, because many...
