    Hyd.power pack,Piper,Beech,etc

I have had the pleasure of replacing mine twice in my arrow. The last time being around 2017-2018 time frame. I seem to remember right at $2000 installed. I can try to find the invoice this evening when I get home.

    $100 Egg Roll?

Thai Pepper in Lubbock. Best Thai I have ever had. I fly up from Houston on a semi regular basis to eat at Thai Pepper. Check their hours before flying up though.

    Doubt on Arrow III

As a owner of a 73 Arrow in the Houston area, I thought I should chime in. First of all, after 10 years of ownership, I still really like my Arrow. Its not the fastest, but it is an economical go some where bird. I would look over the logs at previous very carefully. The airframe hours are...

Demo of Garmin Autoland, SOLID IMC and black hole approaches.

Excellent video. I enjoyed watching your preflight process as well as the actual flying. The Meridian/M500/M600 is my dream plane. Liked and subscribed.

    GTX 345 Failure

Did your avionics shop initiate the return to Garmin or is there a way to talk directly to them? My avionics shop told me that they have heard of this issue and Garmin is aware of it and it may be fixed in a future software update. I am pretty sure they are just trying to avoid troubleshooting...

    Fuel prices

I paid $2.55 a gallon yesterday at KLBX. That’s the cheapest price I think I have ever paid for 100ll. $1.49 for regular unleaded for the Jeep.

    GTX 345 Failure

I am on the list for my avionics guy. He mentioned a possible bad connection as well. We shall see. I am going to get the firmware version numbers of the transponder and 650 to see if there are any updates that are available as well. Thanks for all the suggestions.

    GTX 345 Failure

My GTX is connected to my GTN 650. When this happens, its always inflight and the 650 appears to work as normal.

    GTX 345 Failure

Has anyone ever had any issues with random inflight failures of their GTX 345? This has been going on for the past few months. It does appear random as we wont have any issues for a while and then it happens again. I attached a picture of the initial message. The only way to get it working...

    KX 155 Issues

Thank you bnt83 and Thomasdr72 for your suggestions. Both suggestions seem like good ideas to try before spending money either to repair or replace. I will give it a go and report back. Thanks again!

    KX 155 Issues

So, I am having some issues with my KX 155 that seem to be getting worse. First, my panel consists of PS Engineering 8000 audio panel, GTN 650 for COM 1, KX 155, COM 2 and a gtx 345. Over the past few months I have been noticing static/break in audio randomly on the KX 155 (COM 2). I did some...

Bendixking AeroFlight (KI 300) and AeroCruze (KFC 230)

Apparently my understanding is quite off on the nav/com. New is relative I guess.

Bendixking AeroFlight (KI 300) and AeroCruze (KFC 230)

I was referring to the GNC 255. It was the Garmin replacement of the SL 30. I mistakenly referred to it as being new but it was released a year ago or so. My understanding is it is the size of the kx155 but will require a new tray and wiring.

Bendixking AeroFlight (KI 300) and AeroCruze (KFC 230)

I think they really missed the boat not having a kx155 replacement. Although, a 430 slide-in replacement would have been successful as well. There are so many of those units out there. It would have been a no brainer for an owner to use a BK kx155 replacement over pulling a radio stack apart...

Bendixking AeroFlight (KI 300) and AeroCruze (KFC 230)

Can’t agree more. Garmin appears to have made a gps that fits in to the panel space vacated by kln 89 and 94. They know their market. BK is still trying to figure out how to compete against the 430.
