Best advice you've been given so far. Don't skimp on the foundation. Match the existing roofline. Remember to put the plumbing where you need it before you pour, unless you plan to pipe through the attic. You'll still save mucho bucks doing everything else yourselves. Have fun!

Yep, that's it. I've seen the DogWhisperer do that many times. (some of the advice Henning gave, could have come straight from the Dog Whisperers' mouth, especially the part about training the Owners, NOT the dogs')

I'm sure he does feel bad, but he eluded to the possibility of putting the dog to sleep because of the problem. I think that would be wrong. He's getting some great advice and it sounds like everything will work out. I meant no disrespect towards Nick.

That's exactly what I DON'T like about certified aircraft vs. sailboats! I HATE having to get every little thing signed off. Every little part gives Piper another opportunity to fleece me! Of course I'm a handyman type of guy so I guess that influences my preferances. Time to go...
