Question: should I stretch for an A36?

*biased* At the end of the day, you're going to just love flying the Bonanza. A late 60s or early 70s model will give you one hell of a payload. Send it off to Tornado Alley and you can bump that up 400#. The problem with the A36 is it doesn't have a V-tail.

You may have met one of them and didn't know it when you were up at MCC

    GO PRO Cameras

You could always remove a tie-down ring under your wing, counter sink a few screw holes in the mount and put it there. Should be fine up to ~160 knots or so. ;)

    Pilot manners question?

A bit of background on the maneuver. Kimberly can fill in where she saw the ball out-of-center. For the checkride, it is important to see both single ship spacing after the overhead break as well as an element landing. For efficiency and not having , the maneuver is as follows: Overhead...

    Pilot manners question?

I was waiting for this part... ;) Making sure you weren't talking 'bout me. First, we're supposed to have a thick skin in the debrief. So next time you come up, feel free to 'nicely' bring that up. Second, considering the agressive nature of some of the maneuvers the flight this could have...

B2OSH Bonanza Formation Training - Sacramento

All, I'm co-hosting the NorCal Beginner and Advanced formation clinics for the Bonanzas to Oshkosh group in Sacramento this year. While the purpose of the clinic is to prepare the attendees for a safe formation arrival into OSH, many of the other pilots drive something besides a Bonanza. If...

Can we yank and bank a Beechcraft ?

Figured I'd repost this. *edit* Same topic came up on the Beech List. http://www.mastery-flight-training.com/20110407flying_lessons.pdf

Can we yank and bank a Beechcraft ?

Almost seems like an accelerated stall. You'd think this guy was about to run into the side of the cliff the way he reacted. I'm not overly aggressive with my 35, but I have no fear of wings falling off or bending anything.

    Aerial Firefighting

The data is up on the CDF - CalFire website. You have to dig a bit but it is there. Relatively high requirements. Most were looking for previous low-level military experience or similiar. I even recall 'Fish Dropping' being one of the acceptable pre-reqs. Patty Wagstaff was flying for CalFire...

    Beechcraft Cygnet Dual Control

You can fly it without ever touching the yoke, but wouldn't instruct a newbie without duals. And yes it should fit the Bo no problems. Chris @ Cygnet makes top quality products.
