What is it like to use oxygen?

The Eclipse 500 would be my pick from what I've seen. Cheaper and faster then the overpriced Mustang. But when I get to the point when I could afford a 2 million dollar jet, I would probably just go with NetJets.

What is it like to use oxygen?

Thanks for the great responses. I don't think I'll mention the Cirrus SR22 anymore. For whatever reason, certain people seem to feel it necessary to express how they feel about it, even though no one cares what they have to say.

What is it like to use oxygen?

and with the cost of the Mirage/Matrix, you can just by a light jet. If it came as an option on a new plane, I wouldn't mind paying extra. Sounds like to much work with an existing plane.

What is it like to use oxygen?

I find it really weird that you have to use oxygen at high attitudes (obviously you need it). What is it like to strap-on a mask or nasal cannula? I can't imagine it would be comfortable. Why aren't airplanes that can cruise at high altitudes pressurized? Are the Cirrus SR22 or Mooney...

What kind of airport is this?

bored, there has to be about 5 billion dollars worth of aircraft sitting at the Aspen Airport.

What kind of airport is this?

Yep, that's the AIRCRAFT I've seen. pretty cool looking! I guess its nothing special since there are only 5! What are the chances I've seen two of them at separate airports on Google Earth? I remembered where one of them is, Aspen, CO.

What kind of airport is this?

I was looking at different airports on Google Earth and I've come across this weird looking aircraft a couple times. Can anyone identify it from my poor drawing?

Can't find a decent flight school!

I assumed I would fly 2 hrs a day, 4-5 times a week, comes out to about 6-8 weeks. I would rather get it done in as little time as possible. I assumed two months is plenty of time to get it done, being some schools offer accelerated training programs in 4 weeks time.

Can't find a decent flight school!

I have 6-8 weeks before I move to San Francisco and thought I would consider getting my ppl with in that time frame. The problem is, I can't find a decent flight school within a hour's drive. There are only two in Northern Colorado for that matter and neither of them have low-wing aircraft...

    Advice on first airplane

I think I will wait on a new airplane till the end of the year. Someone over on the AOPA forums said it perfectly. "The quality of instruction has more to do with you being a good pilot that what you fly in training."

    Advice on first airplane

sorry, I have a life outside the internet. Thanks to those of you who provided great responses and weren't complete jerks. Like I said in the original post, I read in a couple different places around the internet that most students will do fine learning to fly in a high performance aircraft...

    Advice on first airplane

Hey everyone, I just joined the forums. I asked this question over on the AOPA forums, but I would like to get everyone's opinion over here. I plan on taking flight lessons in the summer for my PPL after I move to San Francisco. Since I plan on purchasing a plane, I figured I might as well...
