Has anyone ever experienced a radio where it constantly goes in and out of squelch and you can see the RX flashing on and off? It's like the squelch is too sensitive and distance comms are breaking it. You switch to another channel, and it stops.

Slowly but surely learn more and more about the inner workings of your plane. Learn how to change your own oil. There's tremendous value in removing the cowling and inspecting the entire engine bay while you save yourself $250 doing it yourself.
Update: Sadly, this will go nowhere. The shop shrugs it off like they did no wrong. The manufacturer hasn't even responded to concerns in over a week.

Sending in pics and waiting for feedback. Honestly, I don't expect much. It's already installed. I'm not really excited about the fact of having to pay labor to replace it, even if the window was not molded correctly. The manufacturer would have to provide a new windshield and cover labor...
O-470R. Change oil every 25 hours. We toss in about 3 quarts between every change of Aeroshell 100W. Unknown how much is blow out and how much is actually burning.
Just got a new windshield installed in a 182. I finally had a chance to see it, since my partner flew it home when it was done. I noticed what looks like a defect in the windshield right near the pilot's overhead air vent. Can anyone shed some light on this? It looks like an obvious defect...
