1220 hour from-scratch homebuilt

At the beginning was that a paper mock up of the block? I would have liked to see how he milled the block.

Even though the pistons were grooved I didnt see any piston rings.

Can you reliably gap for valve lash at that scale?

I see no ignition or carb - assuming he's running it strictly on pressurized air like a steam engine?

Could be compressed air.

But it's possible that it's two stroke compression ignition (crank / cam gears look to be the same size) - not uncommon for model aircraft engines - with fuel mixed in the air cleaner looking part

Compressed air seems more likely.

DOOH!

Double click and read the desciption:

-12 engine with compressed air injection, hand made using taditional methods:12 cm3 of displacement, the diameter of the cyllinder is 11,3 mm,the stroke of the pistons 10mm,it works with only 0,1kg/cm2.Is constructed with stainless steel, aluminum and bronze.Patelo dedicate this engine to his grandchildren:Sara,Carmen,Jose and Pablo. This engine is for education, exhibitons, etc.,that is the reason to work with compressed air, to avoid contamination. He has made the plans and all parts, except the screws. The engine is not for sale. Thanks to everybody for the comments and sorry for my bad English.
