A buddy of mine will be bringing his kids along so they can all get a flight with me this weekend.

I'd like to print up a couple of "First Flight"-type certificates to give to his kids. I think they'll get a kick out of it.

Are there any .pdf or .doc samples out there than anyone else has used?

Thanks,
Matt

This is the one I use I don't have a blank one. If you want to use this type let me know and I will try to find a blank one and post it. skybobb Bob

Check the information in the lower left hand corner. You might be able to call and order some of these. There is a phone number there.

Hey, thanks all.

The boys are 10 yr old twins. Their dad and I work together. He used to fly with his own dad when he was a kid and his dad owned a 172.

He brings his kids to the airport to hang out and watch, and finally our schedules matched up.

Saturday is looking like it might be a nice, crisp, Fall day, should be a lot of fun.

I know that this is an older thread - but I wanted to say "Thank You!" for the PDF certificate. I created my own (MS Publisher) and incorporated a picture of my daughter sitting at the controls and used the words from your certificate. I did check to see if the company was still in business - copyright??? - and could not find them. The AOPA Project Pilot link to their certificate is broken and the Young Eagles' just wasn't what I wanted. Again Thank you!!!

I am glad it worked out. I hope mine helped. We had a money raiser for the Senior Citizen new building in my town. I gave rides and gave first flight cert. to the kids that went up for the first time. I had a gal that did the writing on my cert. it made them look good.

Wow - this is an old thread. I was surprised to see that I started it!

That particular flight didn't work out after all - I remember that we all got out to the airport, but the wind really started picking up. It was a strong, gusty, direct x-wind. No way I was going to take kids on a "First Flight" in that. So we sat in the cockpit for a while, turned on the radios, listened to tower for a few minutes, did a radio check, and went back inside. A couple weeks later we did the flight for real.
