I'm looking at making a trip to Niagara Falls and considering staying on the Canadian side. I see that there is an airport on the Canadian side of the falls (CYSN) but it doesn't appear to be an airport of entry. So I can consider a few routes:

KXWA-CYQT-CYSN returning CYSN-KDLH-KXWA
KXWA-KPKF-CYHM-CYSN returning CYSN-KDLH-KXWA
KXWA-KPKF-KIAG, returning same route, and cross the border by land at the falls

Does anyone here have experience or knowledge about any of these airports, especially ground transportation at CYSN?

We went a few years ago, before Covid. The easiest thing to do is land at KIAG & then cab or Uber to the Canadian side, no rental car needed. We had passports, no biggie at the border. The FBO at Niagara is versed on the procedure, getting a ride to Canada.

Yes there is more stuff on the other side, close, walking distance. After two days, get the ride back.

Sorry, but I like easy, that’s why the plane stayed in the USA. I understand the next may want to jump through the eapis hoops, that’s fine too.

Same here. Much easier and with Basic Med not recognized in Canada, it was the only way.
