Flying the DA40NG with a G1000

This week I was introduced to the Diamond DA40NG with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit. Occasionally I had flown on a Cirrus SR20 and a C182R with a Garmin G3X cockpit, but this type of aircraft and glass cockpit were new to me.

When I give checkouts in the DA40NG, I tell my clients the best part is the hot start procedure: turn the key.

Personally, depending on the other equipment (like a GTN 750 and GFC500), a G3X beats a G1000.
