We still haven't successfully done RPJ; MDH, EYE and UIN are on the short list, there's the EAA event on the 11th at OSH, and HUF has been suggested again.

Well, I did get my plane out of the shop
and dropped it off at the next shop for the annual 
. Didn’t even bring it back to the hangar. So, I’m out now through first half-ish of Feb. This shop is closer so at least I can go look at it through the window.

I'm going to be trying to poke holes in the sky in the afternoon.
Leaving for warmer weather. Spending the week in Daytona for the races. Pa32 all waxed and fueled up.
Little Cherokee is in annual or I might burn a few holes.

If you wanted I could leave it in the FBO at C81 before I leave. I'd mail it, but it didn't work out well last time someone tried sending some to me in new Mexico to give to our rancher buddy. Talk about a mess.

Anyone flying today? It was supposed to be rough aloft, but maybe it has dissipated? I see no PIREPs for turb around here.

I flew 6.9. Up to Sheboygan, then down the lake and over to Columbus and home. The lakeshore at 2k was bumpy but that was to be expected. Everything else was smooth.

I did some night landings and was misquoted… but it was close
Climbing out at 90KIAS I saw a leap to nearly 1800fpm once into the new air. On downwind I was doing 145 over the ground. The tower was like “I can’t figure out where to turn you to base” haha. 145 on downwind turned to 60 on final. Winds at the surface were 170 @ 12

Guess I’ll wake up this thread. Any suggestions for May? I’m going to attempt to go to VG16 the 19th-21st for that weekend flyin. However I’m game for any ideas anyone has!!

Appreciate it, Dave. Between moving and planting, these meetups have been off my mind. That said, if anyone wants to pick a date and location, I'm always happy to update the thread.
We never did make it to RPJ.... want to simply resurrect that plan for either the 13th or the 27th? I can't make any promises that I'll show up until I'm done planting, but I'll be there if I can. If I'm not done by may 27, I'll be pretty angry.
Not making any plans until my plane is back in my hangar.

Does KRPJ still sound like a good idea since this didn't happen in January? I suggest the 13th as the first attempt. That way the 27th is a backup date. Hopefully by then none of us have to deal with ice!!
