We are getting a little snow this morning, only the flakes are huge. All last night weather forecast was for 1-2" today with 35° temps.
My wife just left for work and it looks like we got 4" so far and it is going to snow all day it looks?

Yet just now on the local weather forecaster is still showing us a 1-2 forecast. Wake up TV station, look out your window! lol Just a small rant, I was was not planning on plowing snow today. And now I get to hook it up in the snow.
Happy Sunday everyone and GO Bengals!

Meh, micro-forecasting is starting to bug me.

M'lady is getting app addicted: "It will start snowing at 10:20 and be heavy for an hour then a ten minute break followed by two hours of light snow." Yeah, let's see how that works out.

A forecast plus or minus a half foot is all I ask, then wake up and deal with what you see.

Stop building snow-whatevers on my lawn, you darn kids! :incazzato:

I have had to shovel off my walk way 3 times in the last 10 days, and it is still covered in snow...

I usually average 3 shovelings winter.

It could be worse. You could be in Ohio…umm, never mind. Beautiful day.

I remember one time shoveling 6" of a "dusting"...

We have been lucky so far this winter, this only the second snow. It also has been pretty warm for this time of year. Plenty of rain lately and glad it was not snow.

In Maryland I don't worry about predictions of huge snows. They seldom happen.

I get WORRIED, when they predict no accumulation, but I look out and see snow. Then they change to a light dusting, but there is already close to an inch. And they change to possibly as much as an inch, when there is already 2 - 3 inches. And so forth.

A few years ago, one such storm managed to drop 39 inches (measured), from a light snow with little to no accumulation to start.

Or as they say in Wisconsin... a dusting!
