Welcoming, Diana Richards, Oshkosh Presenter

Diana, It would be nice if we got see the presentation online with a service like Webex, or similar. Or if you would repeat the 4,000+ miles with a Victory Lap, and we could organize a travelling road show on the Grass Air Fields of the USA. Be nice if the ugly green book would list them too !

BTW, we made it home safely to Harrisburg last night. My wife and daughters were in the United flight (from Chicago) ahead of us as we landed.

Diana,

I ordered the audio of your presentation today, so be sure to use the microphone and talk clearly so I can hear! :)

All, the folks that record the forums are Forum Recordings in Marion IA. www.forums4.us, 319-377-4188. I think it's a husband/wife team and that they're both at OSH, so don't expect any responses until after the show, but the costs were $10/forum + $1 S/H. They need the forum title, speaker name, date, time, whether CD or Cassette, and price. More detailed info on their website!

Grant, sorry I missed you guys yesterday.

Ken Ibold was kind enough to help me yesterday with the equipment at the forum building getting things figured out. I don't know what I would have done without him!

I've been telling people the REMOS building is #5 but found out that there are two REMOS buildings and mine is in #11.

That's a sneaky way to cut down the size of the audience. :D

You don't miss a thing, do you. :D. As I was standing on the stage yesterday I was thinking about everything you said, even the part about the chair. There is no remote for the computer, so I'll need to stick near the podium most of the time.

I just talked to Diana. She survived the experience! :D

More than that, she said she had fun and everyone said it was great. She's been a bit worried about making such a big presentation, but I knew she'd come through -- as I just told her -- with "flying colors!". :)

Congratulations, Diana! :cheerswine:

I was there and her presentation was great and inspiring, Good job Diana!

Tim

I wish I could have been there! I'm sure Diana did a fantastic job.

There's another one to check off your list of fears overcome Diana. Well done!

Like I told you, Diana- you were just telling some friends a flying story, and you already knew you were good at that!

Brian, I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you so much. And a big thanks to all of you who came to the presentation. :) The EAA guy there told Tom that 60 people were there and he said that's a high number for that time of day (during the air show).

Sorry you couldn't make it.

Overcoming fear is hard and sometimes stressful...maybe it's time to take a break from that. :)

Sorry you couldn't make it.

Sorry I couldn't make it too. :( Something about interviewing the CEO of some silly airplane company with a jet that he's gonna let me fly...

Not too much of one! ;) Go do some hammerheads, and then go back to a competition.

Between that and the Raptor I lost a lot of people. :D

:) It's really time to go back to being a hermit and working on the book.

I know that they record the presentations at AirVenture. Do they include video, or is it audio only? I'd REALLY like to get a copy with the pictures and everything, since we won't be there!:(
Grant, thank you so much for giving me the audio CD...I really appreciate it. I finally worked up the nerve to listen to it tonight.

It says it's a .cda file. Is that OK for emailing or posting?
