[Not Video] Check out my plane from a Drone (/Not a video)

Cedar Mills…. That oak tree at the runway end though.

I think we have a sub forum for this sort of thing!

Also it's a hard g because the word the g stands for begins with a hard g. That's a hill I will die on.

I don't care what the guy who invented it said it either he's clearly not very smart he invented the most worthless type of graphic on the internet.

Where can I find more videos like this and what is your PayTron account so I can see more??

An animated gif is nothing more than a slideshow

Nope. This is a series of static images it just looks like they're moving because they're stitched very close together
Uh...surely you know that ALL VIDEO is nothing more than a series of static images stitched very close together. The only difference between your GIF and a proper H26X video is the terrible frame rate and a complete lack of compression. Which means I had to download a 10 megabyte GIF just to load this page....

I'm convinced the 'gif' guy was just attempting to troll the world by saying it's actually jif.

With the jerkiness I just got airsick for the first time in my life while watching that.

And I am sitting at my desk...:lol:

Yup. "GIF" = "Graphics Interchange Format" and not "Giraffes Interchange Format".
On second thought, maybe an exception can be made for those on an Apple product using the Safari browser.

I wouldn't want to stick my neck out like that

On the GIF front... no one has a problem pronouncing Gift, but as soon as you remove the T, people seem to think it's peanut butter.

Also, nice GIF. Fun stuff.

Two of my friends pulled a couple of guys out of a 177 that missed that tree and hit another one!

I remember the phone call.
My Friend: We pulled these guys out of a plane... would have left them in it but fuel was everywhere. They hit a tree and split the plane open.
Me: That tree is scary!
My Friend: No, not that tree!

nice loophole find
but
Nope. This is a series of static images it just looks like they're moving because they're stitched very close together
nope.....
It's all static images....used to be a mechanical shutter that took a series of still images strung together on rolling film..... still the same...frames per minutes or frames per second, and all of that

Still, I admire your gumption!!

actually...isn't the whole beef that the few complainers have suround the monetization...or the potential for it... that the producer gets from the views
so
if the video is just the raw file posted in a thread...just like a still image photo
or if it's posted on just some free photo sharing site, does it have to be posted over there in the new video dungeon?
or
what if the producer pink swears to not monetize? would that make them happy?

Nobody is making money on any of these. I don't have beef with anyone who does.

It's the super low signal to noise ratio, the resultant lack of WIIFM for the viewer, then the audacity of the creator to, instead of apologizing and throwing themselves down the nearest well, instead request likes, subscribes, and other approval tokens. That these time-sucks are lobbed into a forum under the guise of meaningful content/discussion-worthy topics is just an extra layer of cringe.

Are we re-visiting the separate-forum-subdumpster-for-these discussion? :) I'm not sure I paid full attention to the original debate.
