Oshkosh 2022 picture thread

Pictures:
My RV-10 in Homebuilt Camping.
My ADSB arrival track. The heading (I didn't screen grab it) would list the aircraft's location as "Homebuilt Camping" which is kinda spooky.
A PBY...

that's a sharp lookin rv there mr kyleb

Thank you!

Does the 12 pack of New Glarus Spotted Cow under the wing help or hurt the image?

I'm gonna pretend like it's an empty box and that was your pregame before the night aerobatic show. so that definitely helps.

Ah. We weren't very far apart - just on the north side of the main drive aisle (that they ended up parking planes in on Tuesday) that lead back to the HBC pavilion. Looks like pretty close to the same row based on the shower trailer in the background.

Thanks for all of the great pictures! Can anyone who has attended in years past (pre-Covid) offer an opinion on the crowd size this year? Was it back to normal?

Seemed normal to me.

The shear volume of white New Balance sneakers amassed in that one single location must be staggering and impressive sight to see...

I wasn't there for long, but this was my first year and was really surprised by the wide range of ages there. Of course there were plenty folks from white New Balance generation, but I figured I'd be one of the younger ones there, and that wasn't the case at all. Lots of families and kids too. It was good to see.

Judging by the passenger count on the Dorm Bus and Trams and the bodies in the vendor hangars, like previous years.

Cheers

This is the airplane you drug out of a farm strip downriver from Detroit, right?
