I know drive-by YouTube video postings annoy many people here. I was an active member here before buying my plane and filming our flights and remain active. I don't post my weekly videos but did want to share with those that are interested a contest that Lightspeed has agreed to arrange. The winner gets a new set of their Lightspeed Zulu 3's and the odds are probably not terrible considering the number of people that will actually enter the 3 weekly codes.

The contest was announced in this video at around 23:20. The first part of the video is where I push my wife a bit far on the big airshows and she finally breaks. I guess her being ATC actually makes these events worse for her because she knows too much.

The first code is near the end of this video. This video isn't overly interesting, just showing some of the scenes from Sun 'n Fun this year.

I will come back and post the other two videos here for those of you that are interested. Hopefully one of ya'll will win the headsets.

Ha ha...just trying to keep it real. :)

I do think many people here would enjoy the previous two videos with the reroutes, flying GA non-stop from Northern IL to LAL, pushing ATC to not spin me but let me continue south till I found a good spot to cancel, Sun n Fun controllers just making up a procedure that wasn't published (wasn't a fan), tower going NORDO, etc. It probably would have generated a good conversation but I understand how it rubs some people and don't want to do that.

I made the mistake of watching that one while Teresa was in the shower, and she walked in just in time to see things go to **** and jamie freak out. Now she doesn't want to go to osh lol. Martin Pauly did the same thing to me by putting the s&s tent bikini girls and beer bongs at the end of his osh 19 video.

It was freaky when the tower went nordo. I'm looking forward to seeing your take on rough river.

Y’all are so cute! Reminds me of Mark and I flying together. Loved the video.

Jaime likes the bikini tent more than me. She can introduce your wife to it if you want. :)

Think Rough River is next in the pile.
 
The first video is the craziest thing I’ve seen in my 39 years of aviation.

I don’t blame your wife.
 
Thanks for sharing...not. The arrival video seemed semi standardish OSH/LAL crazy arrival until the tower went out.That was a huge dafuq for me.

I love you you guys use the plane and show the cool travel factor of GA.

OK, finally watched the sun n fun vid, that was hairball!
 
Glad I saw this post, my wife and I usually watch your videos together, she wants to learn to communicate with ATC and listens to Jamie for clues.

If she watched this, I wouldn't be flying into OSH this year. I did go to S&F, but made an early morning arrival before it got crazy.
 
Just watched the second video....it's the reason I headed out Friday, was afraid those storms would close in over the weekend. "Drunk" Jamie was funny.

I've been a subscriber for quite a while, and absolutely love your videos. Looking forward to more of them. I'm sitting here planning our summer trip from KEUL to KPRB that we're doing in less than two weeks. I don't have to deal with ATC much in my flying, but watching your videos has helped smooth the transition. This is actually going to be my first filed VFR Flight Plan since flight training back in 92. I've been on here getting help with Foreflight (new to me). Anyway, thanks again for the videos.

Glad you’re enjoying them Bart and congrats on getting back on the saddle with the cross country/traveling flying!! That looks like a nice trip. Hope you post some pics. I’m going to start planning a trip out west for the fall and will be asking those of you here with experience out there some suggestions soon. Enjoy the trip!
