Drywall product? Feminine hygiene? Eyecare? Auto body? Asphalt repair?

What the hell is an 'endpoint management solution?' Funeral home? Crematorium?

Whatever it is, it's probably completely useless. It has so little point that they can't even come out and say what it is, not even in vague, general terms. I truly don't get it.

And what is the relevance of the ad in the first place? I'm playing a time wasting game that results in my virtual destruction better than 90% of the time. Even if I knew what industry these buzzwords are related to, I'm probably not going to be in the market for it. Digorno's Rising Crust Pizza? Absolutely. Call of Duty? Not my thing, but I would see why. Fall Fashions for the Full Figured Female? If you spend all day playing Minesweeper, then sure.

Pro tip: Put your tablet in airplane mode when you play these games. You will be a whole lot happier.

By the way I'm in a cranky mood today. The telco's contractor is out doing directional drilling today, and my driveway is completely blocked off. That means I'm probably riding my bike to lunch today in winds I don't want to be riding in, or I'm going to make them move their rig, and face the possibility of getting errant jackhammer work on my lawn steps later when I'm not watching. And why exactly they are installing brand new fiber in a neighborhood that already has fiber is beyond me. What ever happened to regulated shared utilities?
 
You’re actually placing Spam calls for a telemarketer by pushing random buttons on the screen. If they trace them back it will be to your IP Address and the FCC will fine you megabucks.

Side note/thread drift - We were in Arizona last week and needed to stop for food on the way from PHX to Payson in our rental car. Stopped at In-N-Out burger. Never had one before. Really good burger. Purist burger. Good bun. Perfect-sized patty. Cheese not quite melted (in a good way). Perfectly crisp iceberg. Damn good burger.
 
Endpoints are a computer thing. Bad targeting evidently.

I got an ad the other day for some highly specialized genetic testing equipment. I wouldn’t have the slightest idea what to do with such things. Even less of an idea why they thought I would be interested. Not as though I’ve been hanging out with @steingar.

You say that as if it's a bad thing. Between preferences set in my browser and especially the addition of a Pihole ad blocker to my home network, I don't see a lot of ads these days, and ignore the ones I do see. Even some of the streaming services we use no longer show commercials... it's getting better all the time.

I understand that there is currently a large portion of our economy driven by collecting, tracking, and selling every conceivable detail of our identities, activity, movement, associations, and everything else. I'm opting out of that trafficking as much as I can, and I don't feel bad about it. And yes, I know that there's still a huge amount of information being collected no matter how much I do to limit or prevent it.
 
the fact you don't have ad blockers up is a bigger concern.

I know, "Back in my day we ate carbs and died like a man." :)

While I am not diabetic or even pre-diabetic, I have noted that I don't feel very good when I consume carbs. The more I've cut out, the better I seem to feel. So I'm listening to my body because, well, it seems to be telling me something.

The point being is that it shouldn't take ten replies on an aviation forum to arrive at that knowledge.

Besides, if I was in a position to purchase software to manage patches for large IT networks, why the hell would I be playing Minesweeper?
 
Lunch was lettuce wrapped deli turkey by the way. It was what was in the fridge.

No. That would mean you would be management, and that would make it more likely you'd be playing something that requires less brain power.
