Anybody flown into Warner Robbins AFB (KWRB) and visited the museum? Looks like a nice 261nm cross country from Sanford (KSFB) for my CPL requirements. And I think I’d enjoy the museum.

PIREPS?

Last time I was there you had to fly into a nearby airport and drive over. I don't think Robbins is GA friendly.

Never WRB but flown into MCN took the courtesy car over there. Been to the museum maybe a few dozen times. It’s good, not quite Naval Aviation museum Pensacola or Air Force Wright Patt level but still plenty to see. Lots of rare aircraft and a descent gift shop. Wished they’d reopen the theater.

WRB =
Airport use: Private use. Permission required prior to landing, - that is unless you like an adventure

Contact them via Email, well in advance, and request permission. It may take several back and forth's before they work it out, and they may say NO. You do need something in writing, in your possession, when you land.

I have landed at Andrews, Fort Belvoir, and Phillips in my local area, and several others across the country.

I have also been politely and firmly refused, too.
