[True story...]

Me: *Finishes delicious breakfast at small airport diner. Walking back to plane at tiedown. Sees guy getting out of 172 walking toward me...*

Me: "Good morning!"

Other Pilot: "Beautiful morning. Going to get me some breakfast!" *Pats stomach*

Me: *...Don't say it, don't say it, please please please don't say it.....*

Other Pilot: *Rubs stomach* "Gonna have to do a new weight and balance after this!!"

Me: *facepalm* "Yeap."

It's really, really hard not to make that joke. So, I agree, it is definitely the dad joke of aviation.

Reminds me of another one I heard, something like "It is impossible for a man to finish tying something down in the back of a pickup truck, crank one more time on the tie down strap, and not say "well, THAT's not going anywhere!", which made me laugh because I'm pretty sure I say, or at least think, that every single time.

I've been known to say this.

I am a dad, though, so I can't really help it.

A real mouse I received with a refurbished PC recently. Great marketing. LOL

Having been a Mac user through the transition from having all the port types to now having to have a USB-C hub or a bunch of adapters, it's a pain in the neck (though some have a lower opinion of it). Having the ability to plug the power adapter in multiple places is a nice touch, however.

I thought Jerry Wagner was the joke of aviation. who is also a dad.........

When I had my Cessna 140...

Two guys walking by it on the ramp. One says to the other, "Look at this little 140!" Me: "It's not a little 140, it's a full-sized 140." (In the background: Jack's daughter pretending she has no father.)

Jerry Wagner was the joke of aviation

Jerry Wagner walks into a bar...

VSI - *** shows -2000 fpm descent rate ***
AI - *** shows 60 degrees bank angle ***
Jerry Wagner - "Like to cancel IFR plz...."
Atmosphere - *** sporadic IMC ***
Jerry Wagner - *** flies through several clouds losing sight of the airport environment while doing some sort of spiraling approach ***
PoA - "LOL!!!"
