Want To Buy I need a Narco AT50A or AT150 Transponder

Good luck; I think we had ours repaired/rebuilt once a year for about a decade (AT 150 TSO). I'm happy to say it was working when we sold the plane! (I did keep the Narco ADF, however.)

I'll have one in about a month. My radiostack overhaul is coming up. But unfortunately is not here yet.

Hey Randy, I've got a working 150 were pulling out of a panel today! Contacting you shortly.

Did you get a transponder? I pulled mine out for some access behind it and now the light doesn't come on. I'm getting it checked to see if it is just the bulb but it was working when I pulled it out. I'm installing another ADSB out transponder prematurely now.

Must be working... I already have one that doesn't work lol.

Randy, you started this thread, so if you get more than one reply for a Narco AT 150, please let me know (7754235878. My AT 150 just died and I need to replace it for one more year. I'm struggling with going with an extended squitter such as the GTX 335 with ADS-B or to go with one of the new uavionix SkyBeacons. Is it really worth going with a mode S transponder on the off chance I may go to Canada, the Bahamas or Mexico? It's a lot more money and it isn't going to increase my airplane value at all.

Those old Narco transponders are dropping like flies. Can't pass the biennial because they don't meet the frequency tolerance.

If you can't go with 1090ES capable, look for one of the newer non-ads-b transponders that're being traded in for ADS-B upgrades. Then, at least if you decide to bite the bullet and buy one of the all-in-one ADS-B solutions like the new GDL-82, you'll have a transponder new enough to be compatible.

Doesn't everyone have a couple, propping open doors in their hangars?

Got a Narco AT50A with rack and Ameriking AK-350 altitude reporter that was working when removed for ADSB upgrade a couple of years ago.

Checking if anyone has a working Narco AT 150 TSO available.

See if you can find an AT165. They are solid state and slide right in to the tray of the AT50

Y'all, this is an old thread. I hope after 3 years the OP found a replacement transponder.
