My SO asked "who is that? He's really bad"

Don’t know the performer and don’t care. That’s time I’ll never get back.

I just read an article that said he (the performer) spent $7 million of his own money on that show.

(Insert pejorative here)

Can the poll be modified to include a more emphatic "YES Absofreakinglutely WTF did I just watch"?

I literally read ac43.13 instead of watching it.

I don't pay a lot of attention to halftime shows. This one seemed less contrived than some of the huge productions of the past.

In fairness, the sound engineering was horrible. It would have been an improvement if they turned the gain to zero.

My wife and I had no idea who the "performers" were. That (what little of it I watched) was the worst half-time show I've seen. And we've seen all 55 Super Bowls.

Some of the commercials were good.

I never even heard of The Weekend until this SB. I actually didn't watch halftime. Took a break.

Other than the dancers wearing masks that resembled jock straps, I thought is was a good show.

My wife turned to me and asked, "Are those jock straps on their heads?"

80s vibe and family friendly. I recognized 2 of his songs.

People actually watch the show? I took the ample time (seem longer than normal) to do a few things. I didn’t watch the hours of preview shows either.

When it came to the music, I thought it had an ELO sound and feel.

To be fair, I haven’t seen all the other halftime shows, so I can’t say that was the worst ever. But I think a good marching band playing Sousa would have been more enjoyable.

We didn't watch any of it. Not the half time show, not the game. My wife watched the opening round of the Australian Open; tennis. I watched a couple of episodes of Longmire.

After the Packers lost she didn't care any more about it. I more like hanging out with friends at their Superbowl party than the game anyway. They didn't hold it this year due to COVID.

I know nothing about sound engineering, but it did seem like something was screwed up. You couldn't hardly hear the singer (and while I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, he is a good singer). I saw The Weekend when he did Saturday Night Live awhile back, and it was a much more impressive show.
